My Vodacom App Reviews

When I first downloaded this app I thought wow, looks cool, works great, awesome job! BUT THEN... In the beginning of each new month I get scared shitless, because a day ago my bill was fine and I was still in the green with regards to data and minute usage. The first day of the new month...BOOM! My bill has skyrocketed to twice my monthly payments! Furthermore the widget never works unless you literally checked your bill so far whilst dragging down your notifications bar. Then I want to put the app on my iPad to view my data contract on it, and an error comes up after installation: "we are updating the app for tablets, come back soon" -ya that was 5 months ago... hello! And the best of all is, I can phone Vodacom to try and log a fault or to enquire about the ridiculous inaccuracies but nobody can help me. Thus, this review.

Seldomly allows you to log in. Doesnt reflect true balances. Always a performance issue at the end of the billing cycle. Frequent updates with bug fixes that makes no difference to the performance. JUST A SAD JOKE THIS

description says app runs on ios version 7.1+. i am on 7.1.2 and app goes black after launch. doesnot work on 7.1.2. please fix

Doesnt allow you log in, and when it does data/account details are inaccurate or doesnt show you at all. Dont know how they can put this app out there for the public when it clearly doesnt work.

This app is completely useless. Easily the most rubbish app out there. Too many issues to mention. Vodacom is too big a corporation to be putting out such trash. Fix this !!!

It just doesnt work. Dont waste your time. Running iOS 10 on a iPhone 6

Whats the use of having an app to monitor your usage, if it doesnt work! Maybe this faulty app is more beneficial to Vodacom to make more money.

Desperately needs an update for iOS 10. It used to work well, but for the past few weeks has been useless. Vodacom, please update ASAP

A pain to use, freezes constantly

This pathetic app is just like their website - useless!!

Still waiting for the 1Gb that they promised when downloading the app. App constantly freezes on iOS 10. I guess what more could we expect from Vodacom....

There is way too many bugs in this app. Im expecting my free 1 Gb of data...

Installed, immediately after app crashed, try to login keep saying incorrect password, still not allowing my pwd???? Yes I did activate email sent in case you ask??? Somehow got into settings page? Click on competitions tab, saying my version old????? Wow wow wow your application programmers need to be fired!!!! Or perhaps have no clue how to design!!! Or perhaps got FREE education????? Easier to dial *111# Come on what a pathetic attempt and excuse for an app!!! I rate this -10!!!! And please stop asking me to send an email to wherever!!!! This is the new age!!! Wake up vodacom you guys are really going backwards at light speed!!! No wonder Im contemplating not renewing my contract with you!!!

Useful app with all bugs fixed. Huge improvement to all aspects regarding user interface. Well deserved 5 star rating.

It constantly freezes, and gives incorrect balances, forcing you to buy more data,(when you can access the app), only to find out you actually still have data, also having issues trying to buy airtime, surely someone at Vodacom needs to read the reviews and employ it/app developers

The app is already slow and terrible to use, and since the last iOS update it just tell you that the service is unavailable, such a waste of time. Dont download it, it will just irritate you.

Whats happening with this app? Its crashes and freezes all the time on my iPhone 7!

Its still hard to understand how much data bundles you have left, you need to show midnight hour data in its own graph.
